Required Materials:
 One sheet of White Canson Paper
Two sheets of medium gray Cranson paper ( Moonstone or Pearl recommended)
Three sticks of medium soft vine charcoal
One natural chamois
One 18 x 24 drawing board (homosote, masonite or 1/2 inch foamcore recommended)
One roll of masking tape or four bulldog clips for securing paper to drawing board. If using clips, make sure your half sheet of paper will be properly secured on your drawing board
One 30 set or greater soft pastels
Rembrandt, Schminke, Sennelier, Great American Artworks, and Unison are recommended. No Nupastel, Grumbacher, or Winsor & Newton.
1/2 stick sets are fine. NOTE: Set must have white and black pastels
One can of workable fixative ( Krylon Workable, Grumbacher Matte Myston recommended. No Blair.)
Also - Please bring a packed lunch

Directions:
The Purple Door Studio at Heron Studios is located at 739 Mount Road, Aston, PA.
From Interstate 95 take exit 2 to Rt. 452 North. Follow Rt. 452 N. (Pennell Rd.) approximately 4.4 miles to Mount Rd. Turn left on Mount Rd and follow it 1 mile to Rockdale Industrial Center and Heron Studios.
Look for the purple door.
From Rt.1 turn on to Rt. 452 South (Pennell Rd.) and follow approximately 1.5 miles to Mount Rd. Turn right on Mount Rd. and follow it to Rockdale Industrial Center and Heron Studios.
