Traveling north on our way to northern Donegal we passed through much of County Sligo. From our car window, the distant head of Benbulben Mountain near Drumcliff slowly began to encroach and impact the quiet rural scenery that had dominated our journey. The exaggerated horizontal enhances the notion of open space and the movement of our vehicle as we continued on our journey North.
