My fascination with hay bales continues with this latest offering. These rectangular forms infuse an ironic and surreal quality into any landscape. They are created from organic materials and yet their human-made geometry and eventual use as domestic animal feed is exaggerated when left in the more natural setting of a field, awaiting storage inside a barn. This particular collection was laid out to dry for days during an exceptionally wet season.
