Searching for yet another hilltop view, I arranged to gain access to one of the most exquisite estates in Northern Delaware. Owned by the DuPont family, the parcel flanks the western side of the Brandywine River just north of Wilmington. On a chilly spring day, I came upon this grouping of trees, the first to sprout their leaves for the season. Since there was very little definition to these leaves, I concentrated on their overall texture, creating one of my most abstracted images to date.
