This 1830s spring house, located in Historic Yellow Springs, PA, was named for Jenny Lind, the Swedish Nightingale, after she paid a visit to the enclave in 1850. For two centuries, visitors and residents alike have been enjoying the natural iron springs that bubble up throughout this area. On a warm October day, I set up my easel to capture the fleeting shadows as they raced across the whitewashed surface of this recently renovated structure. |
