I have come to this spot repeatedly to paint and was rewarded on this day by the warmth of Indian Summer. Deep in the horse country of Unionville, PA, this view reveals the coming together of three separate parcels of land, all of which yield at least 300 acres each! What a wonderful resource to have access to. Most of autumns brilliance had waned when I painted this image. However, this was to my advantage, as a single sycamore tree at right held on to its leaves and became the obvious focal point of this piece. |
