There’s something dangerous about hot peppers, both in shape and taste, that attracts me to them. Although my tongue can barely tolerate them, they serve my sense of aesthetics well. Pared with one of the brightest colored pieces in my Fiestaware collection and set against a fiery magenta backdrop, these torpedoes to the taste buds serve up a blast of color that I find stimulating and amusing.
