Stuck inside on a rainy day in Donegal, Ireland, I was satisfied to turn my eye toward the colorful flowers we had picked to adorn our breakfast table that morning.
Taking advantage of the generous windowsill in the kitchen of the converted rectory where we were staying, I casually arranged these objects for my muse that day. Thankfully, in the ensuing work, I was able to convey my fondness for the raw beauty collected from the land surrounding us and the cozy character of our accommodations. |
